With Xero leading the pack as one of the main sponsors, the excitement began the moment we hopped off the train and made our way to ExCel.

This year's Accountex was on fire! I vividly remember attending a couple of years ago, and half of the Excel space was taken up by the Sales Force Expo, overshadowing Accountex in terms of money flow and visitors. But not this time! The industry has grown by leaps and bounds, with more exhibitors and attendees flooding the exhibition halls than ever before.

Visiting Accountex this year was not just about business; it was a fantastic team-building exercise for us too.
We were thrilled to explore the exhibition together, learning, connecting, eating and immersing ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere.

You know the big names in the accounting world - Xero, Intuit, Sage, Iris, Dext - but there werehundreds of other bright and shining exhibitors too. From automation wizards to compliance champs, and from stellar B2B service providers to cutting-edge crypto and AI companies, the variety was mind-boggling. We eagerly attended useful and motivational seminars and had the chance to meet some fresh faces in the software field.

While AI hasn't completely taken over the accounting industry yet, mark my words, it's just a matter of time! We could feel the buzz around artificial intelligence, and we believe it's going to make a massive impact within a year or two. Brace yourselves!

As a team deeply involved in automation and process optimisation, we were thrilled to meet the folks from Apron. Their Team is revolutionising accounts payable automation with their incredible vision. Founded by two Ukrainian brothers with a background in banking, Apron's solution has quickly gained traction thanks to their expertise. We left the exhibition with the clear goal of implementing their innovative solution into our offerings.
